"Everybody's heard the term "Family
Harmonies" and there's no doubt
everybody's heard good family
harmony over the years, but once you
listen to The Bankester Family I
think you'll agree that the term
will take on a whole new meaning.
This family was put on this earth to
do one thing . . . SING!! . . . and
they do it with the best of them.
Thank You Bankester Family for the
sweet music to my ears...." —Roger

Southern Raised |

Watch them on YouTube!
“Spirited musicians who weave their
instrumental talents in support of
their heart-felt, bone-warming
harmonies describe three sisters and
a brother who call themselves
Southern Raised. But Lindsay,
Sarah, Emma Grace and Matthew Reith
might just as well be called
Wonderfully Raised because of
evidence present in their music of
their great faith in God, their
devotion to family, and their
dedication to a musical art form.
Go hear ‘em live. Buy their
record. They’ll do you proud and
you’ll be very glad you listened.”

The
King Family |

www.thekingfam.net
Faith, family, and music. The
King Family of Monticello, Illinois
has combined these elements to stay
a tight-knit and happy group. “Our
common faith and our music are the
biggest factors in keeping us
together,” said Kim King, who
believes that music has kept her
family closer than the typical
family of its size. “Our kids are
best friends. As a parent, it’s so
much fun seeing them go to movies
and things together all of the
time.”
Indeed, each member of the King
family is quick to mention their
Christian faith as a major
influence. “Faith is really
important. Jesus Christ is our
savior, and that’s something that we
want to put at the front of our
music and our family,” said Kendall
King, 15.

Haining Family |

The Hainings play a unique blend
of Gospel, Bluegrass, Old- Time,
Yodeling, Southern Gospel, and Folk
music. They call it "Front-Porch,
Family- Style Music". They have
enjoyed bringing their music to many
different venues, from festivals and
fairs, to nursing homes and senior
centers, to church concerts. Their
music is Christ-centered and
family-building. They strive to make
their music entertaining, but want
it to be more than just
entertainment. They want people to
remember the blessings of God and to
turn to Him for direction in their
daily lives. |

The 2007

You Darlin' (Copper Creek Records

this duo's music. Kimmel and
Kjellberg had performed together for
years as part of the traditional
bluegrass band, "Dick Kimmel & Co."
Requests for their duets during band
performances led to their recording
and a demand for their duo
