About Our Festival

Our festival is held on the grounds of the Lake Itasca Region Pioneer Farmers, in North Central Minnesota. Located just east of the north entrance to Itasca State Park, on Highway 200, we are in a beautifully wooded area, with many historic buildings. View a map of our festival grounds here.

We have lots of room for you to pitch a tent, park an RV, or set up a camper. The rough camping fee is $10.00 (RVs: $20), and covers all three days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). Camping areas are primitive (no hookups available).

We will have concession stands ready with our Favorite Festival Foods. Let us do the fixin's for you!

The Lake Itasca Region Pioneer Farmers hold their show the third full weekend of August. Come back for their show to learn more of the history of this area, with emphasis on logging and threshing.

Win an Instrument!

Don't forget to sign up to win a bluegrass instrument! The winners of these prizes will be drawn and announced from the Main Stage on Saturday evening. Must be present to win! There will also be drawings for other prizes throughout the weekend (must be present to win).
